As Easy As It Gets Pie

A friend from work gave me this pie recipe to try. This is seriously as easy as making a pie gets. And it's delicious too. Make sure you use a DEEP DISH pie pan, otherwise it will not fit!


1 Easy Peasy Pie crust
1/4 cup melted butter
4 eggs
2 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg + some for sprinkling on the pie crust
dash of salt


1. Make your easy peasy pie crust. Brush the bottom with a bit of butter and sprinkle with some nutmeg. Set it aside.

2. Pour all of the rest of the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Turn it on for about 30 seconds. Pour the contents of the food processor or blender into your waiting easy peasy pie crust.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into the middle comes out clean. (Mine actually baked more like 60 minutes).

The Verdict:

Look how beautiful it is! I love the little brown color on the top. I love how easy this pie was to make. I love how wonderful this pie tasted. This is good pie, people!
